   With August Falck as leader, he founds Intima Teatern at Norra Bantorget in Stockholm. It is inaugurated with the world premiere of The Pelican, which is a fiasco.

   The Pelican is one of August Strindberg's late chamber plays, written in 1907. Set almost entirely within a single, cramped household, it exposes a family poisoned by greed, resentment, and emotional neglect after the death of the father.
