   Costumes for Mechanical Ballet  (Ballo meccanico futurista) designed by the Italian designer Ivo Pannaggi (1901 - 1981) in 1919, when he exhibited two Futurist paintings at the Casa d’Arte Bragaglia in Rome, his work enthused Marinetti and Balla.

   A friend and frequent collaborator of Ivo Pannaggi, in 1922 Vinicio Paladini (1902 – 1971) staged a Futurist Mechanical Ball with him at the Casa d'Arte, and the same year the two signed a "Manifesto of Futurist Mechanical Art", in which the identification between proletariat and machine was theorized.
