   Scenes from The Miracle (Das Mirakel 1911) written by the German playwright Karl Vollmöller (1878 - 19 48) and produced at the Olympia Theatre, London, under the direction of Max Reinhardt (Austria-born theatre director, 1873 - 1943), on 23 December 1911. It was a collaboration between the Austrian director Max Reinhardt and the English impresario C B Cochran, and was a spectacular with a cast of two thousand.

   The Miracle is a 1911 wordless play by Karl Vollmöller with integral and accompanying music by Engelbert Humperdinck as well as church songs and sacred chants.
