   Betty Callish (1886-after 1941) started acting in London, as a student at Herbert Beerbohm Tree's academy, now known as the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. In England, Callish appeared Lady Ben (1905), Leah Kleschna (1905),[6] The Little Stranger (1906), A Waltz Dream (1911) and Orpheus in the Underground (1912).

   Scenes from A Midsummer Night's Dream (Ein Sommernachtstraum) written by the English playwright William Shakespeare (1564 - 1616), and produced at the Neues Theatre, Berlin, under the direction of Max Reinhardt (Austria-born theatre director, 1873 - 1943), with the actor Eduard von Winterstein (Austrian actor, 1871 - 1961) as Demetrius, and actress Else Heims (1878 - 1958) as Hermia, in 1905.

   An Austrian Jew by birth, an actor by profession, Max Reinhardt made a real revolution in stage design. His first work was "A Midsummer Night's Dream", staged at the Deutsches Theater in 1905. In order to solve Shakespeare's comedy, the chaotic action of which is arranged as a series of purely theatrical deceptions and transformations, Reinhardt, invited to the Deutsches Theater by the then director and critic Otto Brahm, built a turning circle.
