A scene from Hamlet written by the English playwright William Shakespeare (1564 - 1616), and produced by the Old Vic Players in 1937. The Old Vic Company took Hamlet home to Elsinore, Denmark, for two performances in January and June. Laurence Olivier played the Danish Prince Hamlet and Vivien Leigh took up the role of Ophelia for the June production.
