Measure for Measure written by the English playwright William Shakespeare (1564-1616), and produced by the British actor Otho Stuart (1863 – 1930) at the Royal Adelphi Theatre, London, in March 1906.
Measure for Measure is a play by William Shakespeare, believed to have been written in 1603 or 1604 and first performed in 1604. It was published in the First Folio of 1623.
