   Franklin Fyles was born in November 1847 in Troy, New York, USA. He was a writer, known for The Girl I Left Behind Me (1915). He was married to Sarah E. Oliver. He died on July 4, 1911 in New York City, New York, USA.
   David Belasco (July 25, 1853 – May 14, 1931) was an American theatrical producer, impresario, director, and playwright. He was the first writer to adapt the short story Madame Butterfly for the stage.
