Some scenes from The Hairy Ape (a play in eight scenes) written by the US playwright Eugene O'Neill (1888 - 1953), first produced by the Provincetown Players, directed and designed by Robert Edmond Jones, at Provincetown Playhouse and Plymouth Theatre, New York City, from March 9, 1922 to July 1, 1922

This production was praised for its use of expressionistic set design and staging techniques, and was transferred to the Plymouth Theatre on Broadway. Actor Louis Wolheim became famous for his interpretation of Yank.
