a- The Heroic John Christison (Mr. Basil Gill) in the thrall of his temptress, Drusilla Ives (Miss Alice Crawford).

b- The Dissipated Duke of Guisebury (Mr. Tree), having lost his fortune and the love of his "Dancing Girl," resolves to commit suicide, but is stayed by the hand of his better angel, Sybil Crake (Miss Marie Lohr).

c- "The Last Feast."- The stern parent from primitive Endellion, David Ives (Mr. Louis Calvert), comes to London, and denounces his daughter Drusilla ("The Dancing Girl") for her "Immoral Conduct" in dancing before a mixed crowd of Society people.
