   Old Heidelberg (German: Alt Heidelberg) is a five-act romantic drama written by German author Wilhelm Meyer-Förster, which premiered on 22 November 1901 at the Berliner Theater in Berlin. Adapted from Meyer-Förster's own 1898 novel Karl Heinrich, the play is a nostalgic "Studentenstück" (student piece) that evokes the idyllic student life in Heidelberg during the late 19th century.
