A Midsummer Night’s Dream written by William Shakespeare and produced by Harley Granville Barker at the Savoy Theatre, London, in 1914

A scene from A Midsummer Night’s Dream written by the English playwright William Shakespeare (1564 - 1616) and produced by Harley Granville Barker at the Savoy Theatre, London, in 1914, starring George Burrows as Oberon and Donald Calthrop as Puck
His production was perhaps the most influential, with a small cast, spare staging and golden, slightly sinister fairies based on Asian idols.
