A scene from The Fairground Booth written by the Russian lyrical poet Alexander Blok (1880 - 1921) and produced in Moscow on December 30, 1906. This production was a collaboration between the Theatre director Vsevolod Meyerhold and Blok himself. Nikolai Sapunov (Russian painter, 1880 - 1912) designed the sets and costumes for this production. This sketch is for the beginning of the play, and depicts the mystics sitting at a table in the center of the internal stage.
