Two scenes from Hindle Wakes (1911) written by the English playwright Stanley Houghton (a prominent member of the Manchester School of dramatists, 1881 - 1913), produced in London, 1912, featuring Leonard Mudie, Ada King and Fanny Goodall as Fanny Hawthorn. It was first performed in 1912 by Annie Horniman's Gaiety Theatre company, originally in Manchester and then in London and on Broadway.
