   A scene from Florian Geyer (tragedy, prologue and 5 acts, 1894 - 95) written by the German playwright Gerhart Hauptmann (1862 - 1946) and produced under the direction of Emil Lessing, at the Deutschen Theater,  Berlin, probably on  January 4, 1896, with Emanuel Reicher [Florian Geyer], Max Reinhardt [Rektor Besenmeyer], Rudolf Rittner [Schäferhans].

   Premiere on 4 January 1896, Deutsches Theater Berlin. Director: Emil Lessing, dramaturgy: Otto Brahm. With Emanuel Reicher in the title role, Max Reinhardt as Rector Besenmeyer and Rudolf Rittner as Schäferhans.
