Two scenes from Ze života hmyzu (Pictures from the Insects’ Life or The World We Live In, first published in 1921)  written by the Czech playwrights Karel Čapek (1890-1938) and Josef Čapek (1887-1945), and produced by William A. Brady at the Jolson's 59th Street Theatre, New York, with the stage designed by Lee Simonson, running for 111 performances from Oct. 31, 1922 to Feb. 1923
