   The Concert is Hermann Bahr's most successful comedy. The premiere took place on 23 December 1909 in Berlin under the direction of Otto Brahm at the Lessing Theatre, as well as simultaneously at the Royal Schauspielhaus in Dresden and at the Schauspielhaus in Frankfurt am Main.
