Scenes from Når den ny vin blomstrer (Wenn der junge Wein blüht, When the New Wine Blooms) written by the Norwegian writer Bjørnstjerne M. Bjørnson (1832-1910), and performed at the Kgl. Schauspielhaus (Royal Playhouse),  Dresden, in 1909.

The play was premiered on the same day, 28 September 1909, in Oslo at The National Theatre, in Drammens Theatre at the Central Theatre and in Bergen at The National Stage.

This play is a study of modernity, about contemporary women, about estrangement in married life, and about the respective rights and desires of the older and the younger generations. The boldness and emancipation of the young women in the play reflects the situation in Norway in 1909.
