Ivanhoe written by the Scottish playwright Sir Walter Scott and produced in 1910, starring Charles Garry & Dora Barton

   Some scenes from Ivanhoe written by the Scottish playwright Sir Walter Scott (1771 - 1832) and produced in 1910, starring Charles Garry and Dora Barton (1880 - 1966). This perforemance may be the one stated below.

   The Beecham Opera Company's first Covent Garden Season (1910) in A Mingled Chime by Sir Thomas Beecham.  The programme was made up of Electra, A Village Romeo and Juliet, Ivanhoe, Tristan und Isolde, The Wreckers, Carmen, Hänsel und Gretel, and L'Enfant Prodigue.

   Afterwards, apart from two performances in Sir Thomas Beecham's 1910 season at the Royal Opera House, Ivanhoe disappeared from the professional repertory, except for a week of performances in New York City at the Park Theatre by The Society of American Singers in 1919. The opera was broadcast twice on BBC Radio in 1929, with the London Wireless Orchestra conducted by Percy Pitt, who had conducted the 1910 performances.

Alias Jimmy Valentine written by the American playwright Paul Armstrong, and performed at the Comedy Theatre, London, in 1910.

   Some scenes from Alias Jimmy Valentine is a 1909 play written by the American  playwright Paul Armstrong (1869–1915), based on the 1903 short story A Retrieved Reformation by O. Henry. This was performed at the Comedy Theatre, London, on March 30, 1910.

   It has four acts, a large cast, four settings, and fast pacing. The story follows a former safecracker's attempt to go straight, and the choice he must make between saving a child's life and exposing himself to arrest.
